The rear apron on my bug got severely damaged in the accident. I had to replace it, and I decided it would be nice to make it removable instead of spot welding it back in. So, here’s a video of me hacking it together.

Lexi and I got married! We made our own wedding rings from some stainless steel that was in my workshop. But the nice added touch was melting some pre-1982 copper pennies on top to add a center accent line.

There is a luau every evening next door to where we are staying in Lahaina. Every night right around sunset we would watch them take an outrigger out into the ocean and paddle back in to do a small arrival ceremony for the tourists. We finally decided to get a closer look and I grabbed a few photos.

Torch Ginger (Etlingera elatior) growing in Hana, Maui, Hawaii. The eastern side of Maui is a lush, wet rain forest where these gigantic ginger plants create the most beautiful red blossoms.

I took a ton of pictures with my Canon 5D and created this awesome time lapse video.

Sunsets in Maui are fabulous! I took this picture hand held from our balcony with my Canon 5D Mark III. 5 exposures combined together in Photomatix to create a vibrant HDR, pulling out some of the colors a bit, and then upping the contrast in Lightroom.
